It's been a busy whirlwind week, I've gone from house to house visiting friends and family, sat in living rooms clasping mugs of tea in my cold hands because even though it's Summer I'm still feeling the cold a little. Having Fraser's car to get around in has made all of the difference, instead of depending on others to get me around, something I don't do well, and meeting loved ones in places I could walk to, I've actually been able to drive and spend more time than usual with those I rarely see.
On Monday my first port of call, as it always is, was my grandparent's house. I met their new dog Tommy who has completely changed their lives. He makes them so happy and brings so much energy into the otherwise quiet house.
Afterwards I went to see my other Grandad for a cup of tea and a chat. He has such beautiful views of the Cornish landscape from his living room window.
On Wednesday we went on a little adventure to the Nathional Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, I actually have no photos on my iPad or iPhone but plenty on my camera so once I'm home and back on the laptop I'll write up a little post on to very cool aquarium.
During the afternoon we test drove a new Citroen DS3, it has really motivated me to get myself into a financial position where I can afford to buy one.
Thursday was rather chilly and I wrapped up in not one but two coats.
We spent the evening playing Pictionary and nibbling on yumminess with this bunch of crazies:
Friday was a day for more family visits, which was so lovely followed by falling asleep on the sofa watching transformers. I'm getting far too used to going to sleep very early at the moment.
On Saturday we headed to Rame for the rowing regatta, it was a great day with fantastic atmosphere and lots of fun. We camped there for the night and I enjoyed a few cheeky glasses of cider during the evening.
Once home, showered and feeling a little more human we ventured to The Cornish Maize Maze which really was so much fun. We got well and truly lost, fed the animals at the petting farm and fell in love with the goats there.
It has been such a lovely week and I know i'll be very sad to say goodbye on Tuesday.
