Energy balls are a weakness of mine. If they're in the fridge, odds are they will no longer be in the fridge by the end of the day. They're a really great pick me up for that 4pm slump, wonderful after a work out and ideal for on the go. This super simple recipe is my go to on mornings where I am a little short on time. I sometimes add coconut oil or olive oil to this recipe too as well as seeds or other nuts. I've popped a video on how to make these at the bottom of this post.
Chocolate Energy Ball Ingredients:
2 Cups of rolled oats 1/2 Cup of wallnuts (or any nut of your choice) 1 Cup of sultanas 4 Tbsp of pure cacao 6 Tbsps of honey or plant based syrup
Energy Bites Method:
Pop into a food processor and mix. I tend to place the dry ingredients in first, mix it up and then add the wet ingredients like oils and honey or syrup. These will keep in the fridge for 7 days and absolutely ages in the freezer.
