Princess Diana once said "Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." Random acts of kindness are wonderful aren't they? Especially when you are the person doing the kindness, it gives you that secret little thrill of delight in the pit of your tummy. I think sweet little touches should be done more often, I challenged myself to do one act of kindness every day for a year. It's going well so far, and I've discovered that the more lovely little things I do, I end up not just doing one thing but two, three or even four a day.
It's contagious is kindness. I don't tell a soul about what I've done, sometimes the person probably doesn't even notice but that's all part of it. That little magical feeling of loveliness. So why don't you join me today? After all, no act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.
"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention." - Oscar Wilde.
