Plant Based Pear Crumble

I spent my Christmas Eve Eve wrapping the final Christmas pressies and prepping food for Christmas Eve. As I began making these gingerbread biscuits that I am now obsessed with - I think it's the clementine and lemon curd icing, I spied out of the litte corner of my eye six pears that looked as if they had seen better days. So, my plant based pear crumble was born.

Pear Crumble Ingredients:

  • 6 Pears
  • 1 Tsp ground ginger
  • 1 Tsp mixed spice
  • 1.5 Cups of oats
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil


In an oven proof dish place the pears - peeled and diced, the spices and 2 tbsp of honey. Pop in the oven on 220'c for 30 min. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the oats over the top as well as the coconut oil (in liqui form) and 2 tbsp of honey. Place back in the oven for about 15 mins.
