The past week has been hectic to say the least. I've been at the gym every morning by 7am and heading straight to meetings or teaching classes straight after, arriving home at around 10:30pm to be greeted by very hungry cats and a rather chilly flat. FullSizeRender

My Sunday has been spent preparing healthy meals for the week, cleaning and catching up on course work for a nutrition course I am currently studying. I live such a rock and roll life ;)...

This week's menu includes a potato, bean and spinach coconut curry, beetroot and coconut soup, lentil and tomato soup as well as hummus. The energy balls and ginger oat biscuits I made this morning have already disappeared... What can I say? I have very little self control when it comes to sweet treats, even those of the healthy variety.

I have really enjoyed smoothies this week, they are my go to breakfast when I haven't prepared overnight oats the night before.Β  I tend to bulk smoothies out with oats so that they're extra filling.


I also saved this little dude from being snaffled up by one of the cats, I think he's a little baby mole. I set him on his way calling "Be freeee Malcolm the mole".

Winter has fallen upon Barcelona during the past few weeks, we had a very warm Christmas and though expected, the cold temperatures still managed to surprise me. I've been wrapping up in big knits and coat closely resembling The Michelin Man's wife.

I have been completely addicted to Jamie Lawson's song "Wasn't expecting that", I hope to chill out on planning EVERYTHING in my control freak way and try to go with the flow. May your week be merry and bright :).
