Wonderful Wednesday Número 12 of 2018
Hello, hello, hello my loves. Goodness me it's Wednesday, it's wonderful which must mean iiiiiiiiiit's Wondeeeeerfuuuuuuuuuuuul Weeeeeeednesdaaaaaaaaay. I'm still flooded with cold, but I do feel like I can see the light at the end of the dark, cold, shivery flu tunnel! Wahooo! I'm going to be sharing a little sunshine with you this week, in the hope it shines right through this screen and into your lives, wherever you are in the world!
I've got to start off with Marvie, I found her when I was looking for videos for my young learners classes. I absolutely adore her, I don't know why but she really puts a smile on my face! So here's Marvie's song to make you smile.
.: Spring Sunshine
At the weekend the sun was shining and so I popped Albert into the spare bedroom for an hour and opened up all of the windows and doors. After six weeks of everything being closed up, so that Albert doesn't get out, it was so lovely to get some fresh air inside!!
.: Mini Pizzas
Anything mini always makes me smile, and these mini cauliflower pizza bases did just that! They're free from gluten and dairy, I've popped the pizza base recipe here in case you fancy giving it a go!
.: Bird Song
The birds have been singing away in the garden lately, I think they're singing a Spring song willing the warmer weather to arrive. We've had another real cold blast again in Barcelona! As I was getting into my car I heard such a beautiful little song that I just had to try and capture it on my phone and share it with the world. I popped it on my Instagram stories and tweeted it here, what a lovely response I got in direct messages! It seemed to have made a few people smile.
I shared this video on Sunday on my Instagram feed, the theme for the weekend hashtag project was Black and White. I'm chatting briefly about having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and what that means for me. My favourite part is 100% the bloopers at the end, particularly the one where Albert walks in and then backs up.
.: The gift of a book
My lovely friend Maribel gave me her copy of Tanya Burr's Christmas. A tweet I sent to Tanya actually appears in it! If only I'd have sent it with my new twitter handle... I don't suppose I can ask for a reprint?! ;)
My Wonderful Wednesday next week will be written in Cornwall, Yay! I'm going back for the Easter holidays and I can't wait to see all of the faces I love so much, catch up over tea and go on a few day trips! They say a change is as good as a rest, I really do hope the change of scenery chases off this cold virus once and for all!
That's all the wonderful I have for this week my dears. I really hope you're having a lovely week, I'm sending lots of sunshine and blue skies your way, promise!
Lots of love,
Peta & Katie, Arthur, Albert and Tina x
